In order to start work on your cake we will require a 50% deposit 14 days before the agreed date of collection or delivery. Iced Magic will supply you an order confirmation form detailing the work required and costs prior to this. It is understood that your deposit is acceptance by you of the order details being 100% correct and of the Iced Magic terms and conditions. Please note that until the deposit is received your cake date will not be booked in. Failure to provide the deposit in adequate time may result in your cake order being unable to be fulfilled. Payment options include cash, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and Direct Deposit. In the case of EFT your deposit is only valid once the EFT clears into the Iced Magic account. If you choose to use EFT for the final 50% the cake will not be released to you until this clears as well.
Cancellations can be made up to 10 days before the cake order is due with a full deposit refund. If a cake is cancelled between 5 and 9 days a return of 50% of the deposit paid will be provided to you. Cancellations less than 5 days will result in no refund to cover costs already accrued.
Refunds will be discussed on a case by case basis and are generally not provided unless there is a major fault with the provided cake which occurred before delivery or pickup. Once the cake has been delivered or removed from the Iced Magic premises, we are no longer responsible for what happens to the cake. Iced Magic can negotiate a price for a repair service should you accidently damage the provided product. You must bring the cake back to Iced Magic immediately to demonstrate the issue which you believe constitutes a refund. Iced Magic will adhere to the Australian government Fair Trading Act.
Consultations are obligation and cost free unless you require the decorator to meet with you externally to Iced Magic. A cost can be negotiated on request for this. If a tasting is required, a non-refundable deposit of $30 is required to cover costs for tastings; however the $30 will be taken from the cost of your cake order if you proceed with a confirmed order within 30 days. If you require more than three flavours to taste, additional charges will apply. Consultations will be 30 minutes and made at a time convenient for both Iced Magic staff, and you, the customer.
Iced Magic decorators will attempt to provide the discussed designs as accurately as possible. If required a sketch or referral photograph will be provided in order to ensure the design needs are matched to what you require as close as possible. Cake decorating has some limitations when you are working with cake and associated products as a medium, so as required, the design could change slightly to ensure the design requested is provided as closely as possible. If a customer has to provide any photographs or objects to Iced Magic to assist with the design all care will be taken to look after the provided materials however Iced Magic assume no liability if any accidental damage or loss of the provided materials should occur. If you order a cake design from the gallery on icedmagic.com.au we will attempt to match the design as closely as possible however due to creative process it may not be 100% the same.
If GST is applicable, this will be included in your order confirmation and invoice.

Your privacy will be respected at all times and any personal details including your email address will never be provided to a 3rd party.
